God Restoring Order (GRO) Community is a mental healthcare provider that specializes in trauma recovery services for males of color ages 5 and up. GRO services are grounded in an understanding of the neurological, biological and psychological effects of trauma. GRO services include mental health and wellness, stress management, and community outreach.

Job Description:

Purpose of Position:

Gro Prints is an innovative social enterprise that is an extension of the Gro Community Screen Printing Workforce Development Program. With the goal of assisting men and boys who have been impacted by the justice system to obtain livable wage employment while developing hard and soft skills within a screen-printing workshop,

By providing job training and real employment opportunities in printshop warehousing, Gro Prints plays a pivotal role in reintegrating formerly incarcerated men and boys into their communities, equipping them with valuable skills, and paving the way for a brighter future. Through every purchase, customers not only enjoy quality custom-made screen-printing materials but they are also building strong eco systems of support and employment for those facing barriers to employment.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage day to day operations of sales cycle including invoice tracking, timeline for completion and order close out
  • Activate existing organizational contacts that have not previously purchased from GroPrints, converting them into active corporate program customers.
  • Test and refine a variety of prospect development strategies to maximize sales opportunities and achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including calls, meetings, and follow-ups, to ensure accurate forecasting and sales strategy development.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify new sales opportunities and contribute to achievement of organizational goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, understanding customer needs, and offering solutions that meet those needs.
  • Assisting in general and social media marketing.

    Work Environment: onsite/hybrid

    Location: Chicago, IL

    Expected Hours of Work: Monday-Friday/40 hours per week

    Travel: Must have access to reliable transportation to GRO Community and community sites

    Qualifications:

    Required Education:

      • Minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
      • Demonstrated ability to re-engage past customers and activate new clients.
      • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and close sales.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self motivation.

    Experience:

    • CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience in social media marketing, a plus.
