Reentry

Healing comes first. Growth lasts a lifetime.

Reentry is more than a return home; it is the start of a new chapter. At GRO Community, we provide trauma-informed therapeutic services that help participants heal from the past, rebuild confidence, and prepare for lasting stability.

Healing

We prioritize mental health before anything else. Through counseling and case management, participants address trauma, learn healthy coping skills, and build emotional resilience. Healing is the foundation for long-term change.

Support

Our case managers walk alongside each participant with assessments, goal planning, and consistent follow-up to ensure accountability. With guidance and encouragement, progress is not only possible, but also sustainable.

Growth

After 30 days of therapeutic engagement, participants gain access to workforce development and housing programs. This step-by-step approach builds stability first, then opportunity, helping participants thrive.

Reentry Programs

Our programs provide trauma-informed care and wraparound support for Black and Brown boys and men impacted by the criminal justice system. Programs include:

  • ^Youth Programs
  • ^GRO Forward
  • ^GRO Prep
  • ^GRO Housing
  • ^GRO Prints
  • ^GRO Construction

These programs help participants build skills, confidence, and resources to make positive choices, avoid reoffending, and reengage with their communities.
